A beautiful body is first and foremost
a beautifully proportioned body. Body weight is only
a matter of fashion.
When showing men and women of different
ages and cultures, silhouettes of various proportions,
thin, normal or large, they choose invariably the silhouettes
with waist sizes representing 60 to 70% of the hips
size, no matter what the body weight is.
Today the masculine body is being re-evaluated.
The broad shoulders, six-pack abdominals, small waist,
firm buttocks, slender legs' bodies of Apollo and David
have represented the standard of the ideal masculine
body for many generations. Then there was the crossing
of the desert. And then the standard of ideal male beauty
revolved around Mr. Muscle and nothing else. We basically
had forgotten that a man could also have a harmonious
body without looking like a body builder
Embellishing a body means readjusting
the waistline-hips-buttocks ratio. Large breasts may
be reduced on a very thin body and large thighs on a
very slender person may be trimmed out. But let's beware!
A beautiful figure without beautiful skin is like a
landscape without sun, a painting without light, or
a lifeless look. There is no point having firm breasts
without beautiful skin or shapely legs covered with
varicous veins and stretch marks, or a beautiful stomach
and hips if they are covered with cellulite
No plastic surgery will yield good results
if the skin is of inferior quality. The secret of successful
surgery and perfect scar healing process resides in
the quality of the skin. It is the skin quality that
must guide the surgeon in the choice of ideal procedure
to attain the best results.
